The 30 rooms are categorised into 4 Regal Suites (lake facing), 5 Regal Suites (non lake facing) and 21 Dovecote rooms. 19 of the Dovecote rooms offer gorgeous views of the lake, while 2 of the Dovecote rooms enjoy views of the glamorous palace. Narrow, opulent corridors lead you to the Lake Facing Suites which have a view of the lake even from the bed! Restaurants :
The grand Durbar hall is Fateh Prakash Place's venue for weddings and buffets. Gigantic crystal chandeliers hang from the ceilings and colossal portraits of the royalty are on the walls. The hall can accommodate 300 people. On the first floor here is the world's largest crystal gallery with everything crystal, even crystal beds and gallery that runs parallel to the Durbar Hall, overlooking the lake, lies the Gallery Restaurant (9 am to 6 pm), famous for its English style high tea which is served every day from 3 pm to 6 pm. The restaurant also serves continental lunch and is decorated with Flora Dining handmade crockery.
The Sunset View Terrace Restaurant is the loveliest of the lot; it is open area, laid with marble topped tables, overlooking nothing but the beautiful panorama of Lake Pichola. It is stunning at sunset when the sky turns crimson and you can hear birds going to bed. Candles are put on the tables and the view of the Jagmandir Island all lit up on the lake is beautiful. There is an open bar counter here, as well as an open kitchen. Multi cuisine fare is served and the restaurant is open from 6:30 am to late night.
