Jyotirlingas are the 12 special shrines dedicated to Shiva since ancient times .A Jyotirlinga or Jyotirling or Jyotirlingam is a shrine where Lord Shiva , an aspect of God in Hindusim is worshipped in the form of a Jyotirlingam or Lingam of Light , There are Twelve Jyotirlinga Shrines in India. Mahakaleshwar & Omkareshwar  are  two of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temple in Madhya Pradesh.  

Daywise Itinerary for Temple Tour Mahakaleswar- Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga 

Day 1 : Arrive at Indore (Railway station and Airport) / Ujjain and Proceed to Ujjain (60 kms). Visit Mahakaleshwar Temple and return to Indore by evening.

Day 2: Visit Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple (Half day visit). Come back to Indore. Guest may also take train / flight back as per schedule or stay overnight at Indore and take a flight / train next day.
